Our Staff
Veterinarian
Paul Haughom , DVM, MS Dr. Paul Haughom (owner) has been practicing at Wildwood Animal Hospital since 1985. He graduated From Oregon State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. He was part ot the very first class that graduated from the veterinary school. Prior to entering Veterinary School, Paul had earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master Degree at Oregon State University (Go Beavers!). After graduation he spent two years practicing in Hawaii before buying Wildwood Animal Hospital. While in Hawaii, Dr. Haughom successfully treated many cases of heartworms disease in dogs (a very common disorder seen in the islands).
Dr. Haughom has spent the last 26 years establishing a state of the art, high quality pet care facility at Wildwood Animal Hospital. He has introduced laser surgery, digital radiography and recently oversaw a major hospital expansion and remodel.
Technician Staff
Patricia Kolberg , CVT Pat is a certified technician and has been with us for over 18 years. She is an invaluable member of our team. In essence she is our head nurse. Pat assists in surgery, monitoring our patients under anesthesia. She takes care of our hospitalized patients and does both full body dental radiographs. Pat also performs important duties as a receptionist when needed as well.
Megan Watson Megan has been with us for over 5 years. She was working in an animal hospital in Arizona before moving to Portland. Megan splits her duities between reception work and animal health technician duites. She is very knowledgeable in both taking care of our client needs at the front desk and performing various duties as a technician. These technician duties include: assisting in surgery, taking radiographs, caring for hospitalized patients and performing dental cleanings.
